The most famous landmark in Dubai is the soaring Burj Khalifa. With 163 floors, it’s the tallest building on Earth. Visit the viewing deck on the 124th floor and look down on the sprawling city below, or enjoy afternoon tea at The Lounge up on floor 152.
After a busy day, sip fruity cocktails in a rooftop bar and tuck into a delicious meal at one of Dubai’s Michelin-starred restaurants, such a Nobu, Hutong or Marina Social.
You will be collected from your hotel today and taken to Dubai airport for your flight direct to Zanzibar. On arrival you will be greeted and taken by private car to the Emerald Resort in Muyuni, only a 45 minute drive from the airport.
Check in to your suite and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool or taking a stroll along the white sand beach. Book a treatment at the Emerald Spa to get rid of the last of your travel fatigue before heading to one of the four delicious restaurants on site offering a range of different cuisines, all included in your package.

Why not head out today and visit the historical centre of Zanzibar, Stone Town. As a primary trading post on the spice, silk and slave trade routes Stone Town blends African, Indian, Arabic and European cultures. Its vivid colours and colonial buildings make this a spectacularly beautiful town to visit. Visit one of the local markets and feed your senses with the smells of spices and local food stalls.
There are many fascinating historical sites to explore around Stone Town including the Sultan's Palace, the Old Arab Fort and St Joseph's Catholic Cathedral. Learn more about the slave trade in Zanzibar at the Old Slave Market or book a half day tour to Prison Island. Originally a quarantine centre this island is home to giant tortoises, the oldest of which is 192 years old!
Now its time to kick back and relax! Head to the beach for endless ocean views or chill out at the beach bar and infinity pool. Enjoy a treatment in the spa or visit the onsite water sports centre to partake in some activities out on the water. You can even book time out on the ocean, diving with turtles, dolphin and schools of tropical fish for a truly magical underwater adventure.
